Easily the home run of the year for the “new” GM, the 2010 Chevy Camaro is a modern interpretation of the late 60’s iconic Camaro look. The majority of the retro styling is pulled from the still popular 1969 model. E&G Classics new Fine Mesh Grille provides design and manufacturing details that are simply not found on the market today. One look at the upper plastic grille on the new Camaro, you quickly realize why it’s molded from plastic with its’ complex design elements. First, E&G created a high quality grille made from chrome plated stainless steel that imitates the factory grille’s sharp horizontal center “crease”. Now, that was the easy part of working with metal. The hard part is that we’ve taken our fine mesh & our surround and emulated the significant “top to bottom” vertical “roll” of the factory design for the proper look and fit. Not an easy task! The design and our attention to detail is clearly evident as our E&G grille looks as if it was designed and installed right from the factory… if they still used anything metal on the front of any vehicle these days. No “shortcut” center bar or two piece grille from E&G, just a look that harkens back to the 69’ Camaro’s “peek‐a‐boo” hidden headlight design that now covers the 2010’s turn signals. Of course, E&G always “sweats” the smallest of details. Our custom “Bowtie” & “RS/SS” emblem mounting plates allow these OEM emblems to “float” off the beautiful, rich looking chrome mesh surface.
